There are plenty of animal-looking BOWs: Lurker, Plague crawler, Eliminator, Giant Scorpion, Centipede and Bat from RE0, Yawn, the giant snake and Neptune from RE1, Drain Deimos and Brain Sucker from RE3, and maybe some of Birkin's mutations.
