Description Added 4/6/08

Jake sent me a note, asking if I would like to draw his Monsturra again. He also sent me Monsturra's colors. Of course, I said yes.

I borrowed some elements from 's version of him (which you should all go look at NOW.) I hope you don't mind too terribly, TT.

Now that I look at it though, Jake, I think the brown you suggested for the spikes would have been a better choice.

Fine, fine work here-this guy seems like he was tailor-made for your attention to detail on the spine/talon/fang front. Proportions are 'trim' but formidable, the blue/green contrast works well, and although I can see how those rattle-spines would be a pain to replicate each time, they're delightfully distinctive.

Thanks! I'm glad you like my take on him. I would rather I had made the spikes and claws brown instead of gray-I think it would look much better, a nicer contrast with the rest of him.

Those rattle spikes look really cool, but they are a bit irritating to draw. It's worth it, though, for the effect.

That's very true. I know if I drew a monster for someone, and if they like the ideas, I would be happy.

I will admit that the dorsal rattlespikes might not make it to the final design. As we both admit, they are really hard suckers to draw (I will keep the design for the horns though).

You're welcome! It'ld be one tangled mass of blue and green scales, I think Antrodus is quicker, but it looks like Monsturra's hide is thicker.

Scatha's drawing of him was good. He looks interesting. I've seen your paintings, but I'm not impressed with them.

Don't take that as a offense though. I'm just rather picky at times.

Can't blame ya' really, not all the great with paint at all. However, I did make a model of Antrodus in my ceramics class, and I'llupload the pics soon. Came out pretty good.
