's a good job already. While the snowscape feels empty in terms of detail, the shading is just wonderful and you understand light well. Good job, it is, indeed.

yeah, it was more of a test for me if i could render the snow from that distance. i understand it is kind of boring, but adding more details in future pieces shouldnt be much of a problem

It's not boring, though. Like you note here, the landscape seems to have little detail for its apparent size. Y'know, things like more trees or rocks and boulders in the snow, or things like deeper depressions in it. That said, yes, you did do well portraying elevation variance with shading and did rather nice mountain slopes (though the cut-off from the side seems a bit too vertical). If anything, you did better in your more recent pieces, so your progress shows. And the perspective is alright. So, good going. Looking forward to more, as usal.

Awesomely evocative landscape! Β The imagination starts to picture all the things that could happen behind those walls...

When I first looked at this, the general lay of the land made me think "Gates of Windhelm".

I can already hear the Lord of the Rings theme ringing through my head.

It's a lovely scene, great landscape and very grand and intriguing design on the wall of what must be quite a city. Really nice work on Twilight and Spike too. I guess baby dragons generate enough of their own heat, which makes me jealous. Anyway, beautiful work.

haha, or i just forgot to think about it xD
but they run around "naked" in the show, too, so i guess i have that as a reason^^

Wow!
