Description
This is basically a major EPIC FAIL! I was ill when I drew it with a nasty winter vomiting bug so I inked it and only then realised the wings are too far back in the stomach instead of the shoulders so he can't actually fly. The rest of him is good though and I'd spent so much time on it I just kept going. No undo button with ink
Well my friend suggested I fix it with photoshop but I don't have the skills and don't have the first clue how to do it. If anyone else thinks they can feel free to have ago and upload it as a collab for me to see. I don't think it can be fixed though

you are not allowed to edit my drawings, you did not ask for permission in advance... My pictures are not free clipart/stock. If I see any of them in your gallery they will have to be removed or reported. I've told you not to use my work at least twice now, no excuse.

I see what you mean and I could bring the wings forward, but - and it's a big but- you'd have to draw the back slope and shade/color/stylize it to an exact match with the existing musculature and shading of the area. It would also change the attitude and lighting of the wings and perhaps hide other features that are really nice now. I honestly don't think I'd change it. The present shading and the picture as a whole are too good to lose that quality. I wouldn't consider it a waste, it's just unusual (and much better than some I've seen

The July challenge stock is in the countdown box on the front, you don't have to use it as a direct ref, you could just draw a waterfall (with a dragon) for example and say it was inspired by that stock image but please still credit the stock in your image description.
You have untill the last day of July to enter the current challenge, on the 1st of August I will set 3 new images.
The only prize is features, its more about the taking part, we want people to challenge themselves to draw dragons they wouldn't normally try, it helps improve your drawing skills.
Any existing dragons you have should be submitted to the Favourites folder if you want to display them in the group, the art galleries are only for entries.

I don't think those wings are that bad! Ok, the positioning isn't the best possible but when it is about fantasy creature it is not that serious business. The whole dragon looks cute, color is delicious and I like the design a lot and I probably wouldn't even notice wing issue unless you pointed it out.
But I know, the artist is herself worst critic...

This isn't a fail, I think it looks good. I really like the heart shaped markings on its wings and under belly.
