The Palm Springs County Police is headquartered out of Morestown, Palm Springs County. The Palm Springs County Police is split into 5 Patrol Districts: NE, SE, SW, NW, and Central. The Patrol Division uses 2008-2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors, and 2015 Ford F-150 Raptors for Traffic Enforcement and Unmarked Patrols. The Detective Division Uses 2008-2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors, 2014 Ford Police Interceptor Utility's, and Five 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors that have been modified to look like Taxi Cabs. A regular patrol unit is staffed by: 1 Officer, but can sometimes be staffed with 2 Officers. A Detective Patrol Unit is staffed by: 1 or 2 Detectives. Every Patrol car carries Forward and Rear cameras, A Mobile Data Terminal, Two Spike Strips, Two Road Flares, One First Aid Kit and AED, Two Traffic Vests, Crime Scene Tape, One AR-15, and One 12 Gage Shotgun.
