I really enjoyed this class, I got to use alot of different materials I never would have (I also realized that I have this weird thing for the number 3
)

hahaha Yeah, I know what you mean. I was in an art program in High School and I really liked it, we used a lot of different materials. For some reason, I like the numbers 5 and 8 but I'm not sure how often they sneak into my artwork... I remember adding 5 in certain instances... 8-5=3 haha, sorry, just being silly now.

Well it's been about a year since I painted, which used to be my favorite medium, I guess after painting so much in school with such strict deadlines, it kinda hurt my will to paint although I still draw, but its all anime related

Well, drawing is traditional, regardless of your style.
Sometimes I feel that without assignments, I don't force myself to draw as much. I sometimes miss school for that...

I definitely have that problem too, I've been thinking about taking some art classes at the local university to fix that

Wow, this looks so realistic--like it belongs in a 18th century English novel
I especially like the drab gray colors, it really does remind me of English weather. And the background and shading are perfect--simple, but they bring out the main pieces--the lampposts.

I love the texture of the paper, and how it absorbed the ink wash. Sometimes it bleeds too much, but it looked like yours worked out fine. The accuracy and attention to detail is also well defined, as is the perspective. Good job overall.

Thank you! Paper this heavy is always enjoyable albeit expensive to work with

You're welcome. Yeah, the expensive stuff is expensive for a reason.

hahah they are like ghost lamps, and a sidewalk, doomed to float forever in space with no background

third lamp is a midget one, even for the perspective, but still it is great

you're right, it's like daddy, momma, and the smaller baby lamp post (either that, or I just messed up the perspective
)
