Description Star Trek and characters are property of Paramount, Desilu, CBS, and forty other companies. I do NOT own them or the characters or the show. I do NOT receive anything in the way of profit or gain from the show or characters. I do this for entertainment and enjoyment for myself and for those who wish to view them and use them nothing more.

I had this finished sometime ago but ran out of time to post it before I had my time off. the title I just grasped when I kept looking at the pix and thinking how universe weary he appeared, so I thought the title I used for a short fanfic I did with Kirk during ST:TWOK and his struggle with his decision to step down and walk away from his ship. It may not be that at all, but he just looked kinda pooped to me.

PS, Painter, Twisted Brush used.

Wish to use it anywhere, lj, myspace, blogger, da, website, etc. feel free to do so.

thank you!! I'll be honest, considering any real idea of what I was doing I would be happy if viewers would know who it was!

The blending of the Kirk with the stars was another one of my many flukes. As with most things I do if it turns out well it was pure chance and luck. If I knew what I was doing I know nothing like this would not turn out half way good let alone good. So i usually post it before I do make the decision to try something more with it and permanently wreck it!

I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it and the wonderful words you gave for it. It makes the rest of the year for me!

I'm always surprised by what I call "happy accidents" It seems that most of what you went through on this piece would be called that. I never question it, I just let it happen. Art is unique.

And it is very well done- "happy accident" or not.

thanks! It took me a while to decide if I needed more work on it or not before I finally decided to post it. Probably due to the fact that I really have no idea what I'm doing when I try these types of work.

And as always I do so appreciate you support and encouragement. It means a great deal to me and I appreciate very, very much.

Absolutely beautiful. Kirk has always been an inspiration and father figure to me, and someone I've looked up to. You've done justice to my personal hero!

Thank you! I'm very pleased that you did like the way it came out. Actually I was surprised how decent it came out when I finally sat back and tried making up my mind if I was done or not. (When I don't know what I'm doing I tend to spend more time trying to decide if I'm done or not, than the time that I spent working on it)

But I do appreciate your encouragement and wonderful worlds for this piece. It means a great deal, especially when your're also a big Kirk fan. So, much thanks for it all. It means a great deal to me.

No problem! I'm glad it means a lot to you, because this piece means a lot to me. It always makes me happy to see serious tributes to Kirk!

Keep up the out-of-this-world work!

The title fits. He looks weary and alone.
I really like how it blends in with the background.

Thanks! I really didn't realize what it was looking like until I was done....I wasn't aiming for anything specific just seeing what I could do again.

I seem to do better without trying or paying close attention...makes me wonder what I could do while I'm asleep.

Wow, I really like this. It shows the sad and lonely side of command... something I had to deal with back in the day.

Great job on the feels here!
