Another topical comic, a parody of that absurd and entertaining yet totally unfunny Chevy Silverado Apocalypse ad that ran on that important yearly testosterone filled day of manhood called the Super Bowl. In the ad it shows a man driving a Silverado pull out of the wreckage of a collapsed bridge to meet with all manly men who drive Chevy products except for Fred who drove a ford that day.

I guess Chevy couldn’t be bothered to have a woman survivor in the mix ’cause Chevy is allabout testosterone. In the sequel Chevy ad will have the entire human race extinct due to lack of woman but the Siliverdo will be in mint condition ready to face another day of nothingness. Rraaarrrr! So Manly.

The super bowl ads where very disappointing this year. Most fell flat or felt like average ads that you see on dailytelevision. However there where some ads that where using droll humor and catering to the lowest common denominator. Don’t insult our intelligence, most of us are able to see though the cliches and groin jokes and want something truly entertaining .
