Gas Gouging season is back

Yes gas gouging season is here again, when all the gas companies spike up all the prices for spring/summer to astronomical rates and then when fall comes they lower it to a less extreme (but more expensive) rate and every one is thankful. This year’s excuse is ‘anemic demand’ but I’m still seeing a bunch of cars on the road..hmm. This is like clockwork, and happens every year. I’m not upset nor surprised, I expect this every year. If I bet this comic will still be relevant at this time next year as well as the next.

Also a wild new character appears named appropriately, Mr.Lies. He will be my ‘fat cat’ stock character for greedy media moguls, corrupt tycoon , and other less savory members of the 1%.. He is based on a common movie trope :

Hero: “You said you would let them go!”

Big Bad: “I lied”
