Iβm not a big fan of Spyro the Dragon but even this surprised me . While I was surfing on the Ign website I noticed that Spyro is starring in a new game called Skylanders. While the game looks like a marketing excuse to sell toys, the thing that stood abut this game is out is how ugly they made Spyro. It looks like Activison grabbed a mallet and smashed it into his face numerous times. I understand updating and revising character to keep them modern is important but this is a incredible step backwards in design. Here's my little parody of the new art change.Related content

i miss spyro in the good old days;
The original series was awesome(except for enter the dragonfly, which sucked balls, and Hero's Tail, which was ok)
The legend of series was pretty good(i only played new beginning though so idk about eternal night and dawn of the dragon)
Then we got skylanders that demoralized spyro, poor poor spyro, and now barely anyone remembers he had his own games.
Spyro needs his own franchise back, PLEASE!

maybe. He did look better in Legend then in the original spyro games though.
