This took forever,especially since I started feeling sick at first like really sick and I had to take a break since it was getting worse and worse and that stopped me from typing the words down,even now I am not sure if it's well made since I am not feeling perfectly well
I actually finished it..woah! this actually has 325 frames with text,so it did take quite a while,I am not sure how much though...since,like I said I felt really bad and the clock was the least of my problems...

Just wow. This hit me right in the kokoro yet again!
But it's true though... The world is messed up.
I guess Chara used to be this sweet little girl who loved everyone,
but humans... Betrayed her.
We can't really blame someone for turning bad, or becoming what they are.
They are sure to have reasons...
But, if only someone showed Chara how things could still get better even with all the hurt.
I mean, sometimes, you just gotta look with your heart...
And true friends will always stay true friends even if they're miles apart.
But... I guess it all depends, yeah?

The thing is..sometimes you are in too deep and don't even want to be saved,you feel like you don't deserve it anymore...and Chara probably wasn't bad when they decided to kill the humans..
They probably really wanted to help the monsters but when Asriel fought against it Chara must have felt betrayed.
And that probably made Chara think they are some evil villain that no one loves...

Yes... Right in the Kokoro... Like, even if Asriel really meant no harm... Chara, who trusted him, thought he would also see it through...
There was this video I saw in Youtube talking about how Chara became so demented in the first place.

It's really sad... Sometimes people should just really accept their faults instead of blaming others.

Hmm..the thing that vid says wrong is that they make Chara look "special"
But Chara could be any one of us.
Chara isn't the only one bullied,and not the only one close to becoming mad because of it...
Each one of us could go through that,no one can actually resist that.
And Chara actually had a lot of determination..they survived with the Dreemurr family and died pretty much for them..to help Asriel go get some souls,AND to protect the monsters.
And that might not seem as much but think about the humans who usually commit suicide...depression is not easy,it never was.
I think Chara really wanted to suicide when they fell into the mountain,but they accepted the Dreemurr family and tried to get over it...
Until the human problem came.
I remember how bad I felt when I was playing the game and everyone wanted to get out..humans would kill them.
I knew for sure that if they actually manage to go out humans would kill them..so the only chance for them to survive was to fight the humans but no boss monster would do that...so them...who would?

Chara probably felt the same,and they had no choice but to suicide...
Asriel would never hurt em..neither would any other monster and the only way to pass the barrier was with both human and monster soul.
So Chara just did what had to be done...

I guess, in general, people really do what they have to do.
What matters I guess is their intentions.
Chara had good intentions, but I guess the means was wrong?

Oh this hurts. Back when Chara still had room in their heart for love and warmth and kindness, that's what this story is telling me.
They were messed up and angry and hurting but, if only someone knew what to say or what to do, they probably could have been saved at this point. This story is so sweet; little Asriel knows so little of the bad and the ugly in the world.
It's a shame what fate has in store for these kids....

ohhh, that hurt my heart. i can't see Chara as truly wishing to harm monsterkind until after the Player influences them. they were angry and full of hate and pain for the humans that hurt them.... I think they valued their revenge over the safety and happiness of their loved ones.....
and poor Asriel loved them still....
this is a very nice story, and the art is really good. seeing such well thought-out gifwork fill me with..... determination

agreed! however...there might be a reason Chara would want to harm the monsters,when Asriel fought back,it could be like a betrayal for Chara,Asriel being their best friend and all..
Chara might have wanted to hurt the humans for a second reason too though! just think about it..monsters get out..and then what? humans are stronger than monsters,the only reason I can think of for humans not killing them before was because monsters could absorb the soul of a human and humans can't absorb the soul of a monster. but knowing Toriel and Asgore ( Asriel too) could they really absorb human souls in order to fight humans? they seem too nice to be able to become bloodthirsty demons just to protect monsters,so maybe Chara took it upon theirself to get rid of the humans,for the monsters,also knowing that the humans deserve to die for being complete assholes and making Chara want to die ( Chara went to the mountain knowing no one returns)
Just an idea ya know,Asriel might have realised later,and that is the reason he is asking himself if he did the right thing,if you look he does say that he started doubting himself if he did the right thing,and after all,they were best friends,Chara's last wish was pretty much to kill the humans,but Asriel took that by fighting with all his will,It's pretty much normal that Asriel would feel regret and would want Chara back with everything he has...

I don't think I could draw Chara stabbing Asriel even if I wanted to! they are too cute together as bros xD
But I do see Chara as a child that had really huge problems with being bullied and betrayed and became rahter evil because of that,and wants revenge,and maybe he got angrier since Asriel stopped them from getting revenge at the cost of his own life ( and that can be quite a betrayal if you think about it) since they were supposed to be best friends and in their view,Asriel should have understood.
