The episode was called "Forth Down And Long" I believe it was on season 3 not sure of the episode number.

The 11th episode of th 3rd season of MMPR and the monster that was in this episode is called 'Centiback'. And his ability was to turn people into American footballs.

I watched it pretty much religiously up to Turbo, at which point it dropped so far down in quality (which, considering its original quality, is really saying something) that even I couldn't be bothered with it.

I was in like 1st grade when that show came out originally.

Honestly, I don't know how you can get into it if you didn't as a kid.  Kids are the only people who can accept the sheer amount of nonsense it has in order to accept it.
