Description
The role of Spike the dragon in the Harmony Crusaders universe will be played by Ganache the griffon.Meet Ganache, Dinky's number one assistant. He's just a cub/chick/whatever, so he's pretty damn young. He has a huge crush on Sweetie Belle, and is without a doubt her biggest fan. Dinky hatched Ganache from an egg during her entrance exam into Princess Luna's School for Gifted Unicorns. He is an extremely fast flyer, but his penmanship is a tad sloppy. He has a great sense of humor and a weakness for chocolate (what, did you think his name just referred to his colors?)

I figured Gilda and Rainbow Dash never met until they both got to flight academy. So in Harmony Crusaders, Gilda is residing in the Griffon Empire.

Just a curious question: If Garble was a replacement for Gilda, who is the buddy introducing to Harmony Crusaders? Scootaloo or Rumble?
And who will Garble be meanie to? Sweetie Belle?
If Scootaloo introduces him to others, I have a idea to this:
Scootaloo Will introduces for Garble to Rumble first. Rumble will feel a little bit jealous, but Scootaloo explains to him that they're just friends. But she's actually have a little crush on Garble because of his awesomeness as a dragon (Spoilers!! XD)
Babs was next to meet Garble, but he only see her as a annoying pony and later was mean to Sweetie Belle (or Apple Bloom???)
(...You know the rest...)
And on a party he got crazy because of Babs and later Scootaloo admitted herself it was her, who made the pranks and realize that Garble wasn't the dragon she throught she knew and Rumble was right about his behavior to her friends. Garble flew away and Scootaloo's never seen him since.
(Oh, I just forgot to tell, that Garble is Scootaloo's wings, when they're hanging out and since she can't fly. ;-D)

So you're not sticking to the age reversals for Spike, then? Too bad really, I could see some potential in having Spike as Twilight's older "brother" or what have you. Or maybe her foalsitter. After all, nothing saying that Twilight had to be the one to hatch Spike. Maybe her mom hatched him, for instance. I could see little Rarity meeting him in Canterlot on some trip with her sister and getting a weird crush on him, which creeps him out because he's not into foalicon. But it's your AU so do whatever.
