Cinema 4D doesn't accept ".DDS" - so you need to load the hair, eyelashes (etc) texture into photoshop using the ".DDS" plugin and export as ".BMP" with "ALPHA CHANNELS". Once you have did this, load the new texture onto the hair, eyelashes (etc) in Cinema 4D, add the alpha map and tada. It's a complicated process if you don't know what you're doing. But just look around. You'll see.
