This was a pic I made in the summer and submitted for an enviromental contest where you made a pic about York City in 100 years, bleak or hopeful. I got in the running up but I didn't won. I did get my work on display though, so it's a major plus!
In fact, I got my original copy ready to frame at some point in the house while a copy is in some kind of time capsule.

What you see here is that in 100 years in the future, 2123, we develope technology to clean up the rivers and seas to clean up the waters ruined in the 20th and 21st centuries by making lasers to destroy litter, plastics and garbage that are indestructable, mecha cranes and giant robots bult for river cleaning purposes and hover skips to store the rusted remains of what was in the sea, all the while people are watching the operation while it's being directed by a man in a green trench coat.

Got quite a lot of compliments from people outside the internet and people I know and even learned my late father was once part of a river clean up crew so he would've liked this piece.
