The 1978-79 version had good enough ratings to keep it on the air, but some dick at ABC cancelled it.
Fan outrage forced ABC to resurrect it, only to mess it up so badly it got cancelled again.
Then Ron Moore got his grubby mitts on it, and made a remarkably stupid version that could not survive outside the low expectations of the SYFY channel.

To be honest im a bit tired of another Marvel movie, one is worse then the other
Throwing all characters on one pile doesn't make a good movie & the storylines are thinner then a hair,
Maybe Pacific Rim2 this year will be cool, but im afraid its gonna be more of the same too
& then we have Solo (Han Solo) but didnt see much yet to know what to expect

I think maybe Han Solo will be good coz he was a real rich character... unless they really botch the story up.
Picific Rim 2... is not as gritty as the first. But the action sequence may still be something to consider. So yeah will wanna watch that.

indeed lots of GGI action, but thin story im afraid
MazeRunner2 looked somewhat cool
1 exeption in the Marvel saga, was Guardians of the galaxy 1&2
great mix of adventure & humor u don't see that often anymore
& my girl is in love with Groot
