Description Okay this is the rear part of the cockpit. on the bulkhead to the left you can see the circuit breaker panel, in the center is a very basic fold down toilet. to the right is the galley.
On either side there is a life raft canister in the event of a crash. In the foreground you can sort of make out the racing seats with five point harness and my brand new Stellar Dynamics Aerotech logos on the shoulder straps. There's still  a lot more to do here, the frame around the cockpit has to be sorted, and the whole damn thing needs to be mounted in the fuselage of the craft. I also need to do something more to the floor, as it still looks a little bare.

I am assuming that this is a very long range boat. I am saying this because it has a toilet. You could put food and water containers in the empty space (for use in a Trans-Pacific race?). It is a very well designed cockpit!

Thanks! You assume right, this is supposed to be a groundeffect aircraft/boat that races in a world wide series of 12-24 hr races. Like Monaco to Dubai round Africa 24 hr race. NewYork to Sydney 24 hr race or Singapore to San Francisco 12 hr race and so on. It's like a sea going version of LeMans.

Would be pretty strange to take a dump while your buddy is sitting right in front of you. Plus the smell...ewwwwwwwww!

Hehehe, I see your point mate! Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Have you seen the toilets onboard a Volvo ocean race regatta sailboat? That's the toilet I modeled this one on and it's even more exposed. I went down the same route, you see a door adds unnecessary weight and this is a stripped down racing craft.
Both pilots here are in high backed racing seats facing the other way and wear helmets with separate air supply. The craft is racing 2-6m above the ocean at mach1+. Your buddy will not smell or hear you nor will he/she have the time to look at you shit. They'll be busy racing
If you look closely you'll also notice that it's a fold away toilet. The space it occupies is also the access point to the onboard fuse panels.

LOL this is a water racing boat? I thought it's a jet. XD In that case, it's all good.

Hi mate, it's a bit of both actually. I saw a picture of an airborne class one offshore boat, and then I thought Hmm.. what would it take to keep it flying, how fast would it go and what might it look like?
It starts off as a boat, taking off and landing on water, but it uses ground effect and cruises on an air cushion a few meters up as a low flying jet.
Again, thanks for taking the time and interest to comment.
