So this is my entry to 's fun contest to design guardians, although I'm not really sure what they are guarding . . . but who cares, guardians are always cool. So let's do a little about her.I represented her happiness, joy and mercy through the fact that she has a very childish appearance. But she is fact much older than she seems, and although childish, she can be very wise and serious when she needs to. Β She loves animals, nature, and loves to laugh and make others happy. She can rarely kill or hurt people. Through the power of her staff, she can control the three basic elements; wind, water and earth. She is always a good friend to all and has a great generosity. She cares a lot about everyone around her. Her greatest fear is to one day be all alone.

Compared to the two other pieces of art I have commented this seems more simple. There are not so much depth in it. You could play more with contrast between light and dark. She seems to be honest very flat to watch. I do though like you play with the colors contrasts here as well that makes her clothes very interesting.

Very cute character! Your proportions, overall shape, etc, seem really spot on - she seems dynamic and lively, not stiff or awkward at all. The birds are a great touch! I have such a tough time with birds in flight, but yours are delightful and believable.
I feel like the background is too light, though, and the whole piece could use a little more contrast overall to make things pop?
