Alina Starkov and the Darkling from the Grisha trilogy!Alina was sorta feeble for my tastes, and I wish the books had explored the dynamic of these two better, but oh well. I love the Grisha universe and the imagery it conjures.

Wow, I love the composition and colors! Light and Dark dynamics were always my favorite, and I agree that Bardugo should have explored that dynamic more. Still, this is beautiful!

Thanks! Same here, I love light/dark, and just good color contrast in general.
And yeah, I love her writing and world building, but I thought the Darkling's character could have been fleshed out a little better. Still love her work though!
