Description
The Remlans are one of the founding members of the Alliance. Their species is fairly ancient, and they have very advanced technology. As an advanced culture, they are both valuable to the Alliance's science divisions, and war-effort. They have an ancient disagreement with the Acrazzi, a strange one legged species, but since the Alliance has grown the Acrazzi have backed off. It was also unknown until fairly recently that the Eelend, another member of the Alliance, were mutated Remlans, having been abducted from Remlai long ago, experimented on, and dropped off on Mukka.

They have a strong sense of spirituality, with a religion based on the fact that about 1 in 3000 Remlans have the ability to see dark energy and dark matter, and 1 in 300 of these Remlans have the ability to manipulate them. Scientists still have yet to understand how this is possible, but the theory is that dark energy is a gauge boson that dark matter interacts with, similar to how our matter interacts with light, and that there must be a particle that interacts with both(Which they call a medon). The medon would somehow be incorporated into the Remlan biology. If this particle could be discovered, technology could be made allowing for dark energy/dark matter goggles, and even genetics to allow any species, and any individual to see them.
They also have a paddle-like tongue which helps them sense the world in more detail.
