This isn't an adult Sea Striders. The biggest ones are nearly 200m tall! Read the book!

Oh I see. Well, I based it on the movie. I may read the book some day! Thanks for the recommendation!

Hmm... That should probably be cut down a little bit to be more plausible...

No, I'm sure you're right. I just think that the magnificent strider itself should be sized down. I think it's just too big to walk around.

Oh I see. Yea, when I first saw it it was kind of difficult to see in real life. If it lives on another planet with lower gravity, or a thicker atmosphere maybe.

Yeah, but not enough that it could support that much weight. Something's gotta change with that thing...

wow that's unexpected XD I didn't really anticipate it to be three times taller Thank you for doing this!
It is called "Magnificient strider" and it's from Evan Black's planet called Nereus.
And I figured my part of this little exchange if you would like to hear it.

Well, I was thinking that you could give me a written description of one of your creatures and I would draw a fanart of it. I really liked how you got inspired by reading the Flatland, that's where I got the idea from

Oh, like take one of my most popular or favorite creatures and just give you a description to make your own version?

yes, whether you have drawn it yet, just describe it to me. how many details you include is up to you, but I'd really like to see how close I can get from the words alone
