Thank you so much!  Yes I was trying to do something more with her face but I ended up with just a mole.  But yes you are absolutely right, I will probably try that on my next piece

Oh yes!! I love redheads because of the skin complexity, dots and freckles s2 I reaaaly love it.

I was working on my character's skin lately and i got too excited and ended up adding too much face details like you wanted to do. Perhaps you've made the right choice with something clean.
