Personality: Owen is a fairly serious individual, dedicating much of his time and effort to learning the arcane to continue on his family's legacy, but he does understand how to let loose and enjoy himself now and then. He is considerate towards those he calls friends and ultimately wishes to have fun in pursuit of his goals.

Background: Owen is the latest in a long-running family of mages, being brought up on the foundation of magic and all it can offer, with it becoming a regular part of his studies and life from a very young age. As he became an adult, he found certain interests regarding magic and what it can be used for, beginning to study and practice it in secret. He sometimes went out to try it with people at certain establishments, wanting to get a better understanding out of it through practice on a willing person.

His family ended up finding out, and Owen dreaded their response, immediately certain they would cast him out. But they did not, instead, they openly accepted that Owen had different interests, and allowed him to pursue them. After all, it did lead to new applications of magic that they hadn't even considered before, and that was for the better where they were concerned.

Absolutely ecstatic with this, Owen went one step further in his wishes and forged himself a fitting costume, taking the name of The Masked Magus and beginning superheroics as a magically powered hero in addition to pursuing his interests in male romance and activities. In time, he would meet and team up with Shock Dragon, whom he became good friends with.
