Maple Kalino, or better known by her superhero alias of Starshard, is adept in the arcane arts, being one of the best in Coast City and potentially on the world itself. She does not specialize in any particular type of magic, preferring to be an jack of all trades in that department which grants her offensive, defensive, and support based magic. There are a few that do elude her ability though, from not focusing into the specific field required for them, unable to cast that type of magic due to it not being teachable or being able to be learned, or simply being against her tastes such as necromancy.

She is the romantic interest of Wenyan Namayoto, reciprocating his feelings for her, and is usually seen on the field with the green scaled martial artist. Alongside the dragon, she has taught many students that Wenyan has trained that have shown potential in magic or elemental capability, regardless of what kind or how they achieved it.

Update: As a few friends pointed out that she would be better off without the fauld, and I agreed with them on this, so I got it edited.
