Positive Traits:
+ Believes in equality ((more or less that everyone sucks as much as the next one))
+ Easily manipulated into helping if you know how he works
+ Is actually a pretty good person at his core

- Grumpy and ill tempered ((in human form))
- Lazy and Self serving
- Prone to sulking
- Has a rather improper mouth on him

Kiernan doesn't have a lot of positive traits right now. He's not too happy about being shoved into a human body, especially at the cost of his arms, nor about being forced to stay in the base with all of its bright lights, rules and people. He's fairly solitary. When he was a free demon, due to his size and the generally small number of his species, he had a large territory to romp in that was uninhabited by other demons and held small, easily avoidable villages. After several hundred years of getting to do whatever he wanted, he isn't adjusting well to the whole 'play well with others' thing and prefers avoiding talking to them all together. It doesn't help that he's socially inept and easily feels uncomfortable and awkward when forced into an extended conversation. At times he's overly blunt and has no problem telling you what he thinks of you or where you can stick it.

He's far easier to get along with if you're soft spoken or happen to catch him in the dark. When in the dark he can finally relax and his tendancy to be short and snarky will turn into him just being generally grumpy. The best way to make it into his good books is with edibles. He can stomache almost anything, from crayons to motor oil, and can make use of it but has developed a sweet love of cooked human food. His favorites are potato wedges, cupcakes and the ever holy bacon. Do not touch his bacon. The best way to get on his bad side other then messing with his food is to point out his lack of arms. He's highly sensitive about it and will likely physically lash out if the subject isn't immediately dropped.

Kier has an accute case of schadenfreude. He's not in any way sadistic, he's just a bit of an ass. There is one thing he can't take however, and that's if someone starts crying. It makes him beyond uncomfortable, wether he's a human or a demon, and more often then not he'll flee from whom ever is doing the crying.

Once you get past his exceedingly rough exterior you'll find a demon struggling with a new set of feelings and thoughts he's never had before. It seems giving him a more human mind has reformed the way he processes the world. He now thinks about the future and what it might hold and that alone scares the hell out of him. He's also far more aware of morality and has names to put to some of the things he's felt over the centuries that he never really examined before and had quickly forgotten after feeling them.

Overall, at the moment, he doesn't care for the humans at the base since it's their fault he's like this. He does his best to give them the proverbial flipoff just this side of having his ass kicked for it. Mostly he stays since he doesn't have a choice. And the food isn't bad.

+ Can unhinge his jaw/ dislocate his bones to fit through tight spaces
+ Extreamly flexable ((good at dodging attacks))
+ Amazing sense of smell and hearing in both forms. This is the way he navigates the world.
+ His tongue is excessively long and can move extreamly quickly
+ In human form he's easily knocked around due to his lack of balance, but it's made up for by his body's overall resistance to lasting physical harm

Special Skills:
+ Can seal his own wounds and cuts with shadows. He is able to shift his bones back into place if broken or displaced. ((unconcious ability)) It's possible he can use his 'blood' to seal his partners wounds until they can be properly healed.
+ His shadow arms are able to shift form and are excellent for crushing due to their great strength. He is currently unable to summon them. ((should be able to summon them next level so he can ditch the crutches and walk on his own. Will also be able to ditch the stupid head gear))

● Weaknesses:
+ In bright light he will lose parts of his body that are made of shadow while human. When in demon form light will weaken his strength in his shadow limbs but they will never completely disappear.
+ In human form he currently can't generate almost anything from shadows
+ Since he used his shadow hands/ manipulation for most of his combat he is rubbish at fighting and is still getting used to not having his hands around. When forced into a fight he spends most of it dodging attacks.
+ He can't see shit. He's usually too proud to admit he can't see and will navigate by his other senses.
+ Cannot be healed by a holy, it just makes his injuries that much worse. It stings him when his partner is healed by a holy.
+ His speed was greatly hindered by the loss of his forarms since he relied greatly on them for movement
+ Poor balance when fighting/ distracted
+ Is weak against fire, electric and holy. Electric surges seize up his ability to manipulate his shadows both internally and externally and causes him paralysis. The light from fire can burn away his shadows when in human form. Holy is like acid and will eat away at his flesh and shadow both.

● Form Differentiation

Human Form:
To put it in the nicest way, he looks like ass almost 100% of the time. He's too tall and too thin and looks like he's about to pass out at any moment. Despite the fact he has a skeletal structure and muscles, that seems to be the end of the internal similarity to humans. He has no proper internal organs and instead is filled with a thick black substance that the scientists at the base refered to as his blood. This substance would be used in his bonding and isn't in the least poisonous, though it does stain something awful. He has a lot of difficulty adjusting to his new body, especially not being able to change parts of his form and his lack of forarms. He's still as flexable as he always was, actually creepily so. It's reminicent of a ferret the way he can bend and twist, but without the ability to balance properly in this new lanky form he more often then not ends up on his face if he tries anything. His grousing about being in the light, despite the fact he can tolerate it in human form, is that it causes his skin to itch painfully when exposed to it for long periods of time. He is an excellent target to be made fun of. Because of his lack of shadow abilities at the moment his jaw is extreamly weak and the job of having to eat rather then eating for fun took its toll quickly. He now has to wear headgear to both support his jaw and help keep his jaw and teeth from wandering off. As if this wasn't enough thanks to his stilt like feet remaining he has to wear special 'booties' to help him stay upright and usually has to use the aid of crutches to keep his balance until he's more used to his new body.

The size of a large elephant, Kiernan in this form is highly energetic. He doesn't come out unless it's an overcast or moonless night. He's far more agreeable in this form to a certain extent. He enjoys scaring things for a laugh and eating anything that comes his way. He also loves playing games and play fighting. He's just as prone to sulking in this form when he doesn't get his way. He relies heavily on his shadow manipulation. He can move in daylight and darkness in this form but is severly weakened in daylight. He will avoid going out in the light unless forced. His basic form remains constant as a demon but the shadows he hides his core body in constantly shift and will often sprout into strange tufts of hair, attenae like protrusions, draw back to show the saude-like leather of his real skin, or sometimes grow into strange horns or antlers.

● Story:
He wasn't always as large as he is as a demon. Kieran started out the size of a medium dog and spent several decades growing to the size he is today. He survived by 'eating' darkness, an automatic process that converted gasious shadow into a liquid/ solid form with which he was filled and used as parts of his body.

As he grew bigger, and the humans in his territory braver, he began to chase them when they wandered far enough from their homes for entertainment. They didn't taste particularly good, but they were fun to run after and bother when he was really bored. Over time he ventured closer and closer to the many villages. He would scrape on doors and windows, looking for a way in but was too small to force them open, but he was still growing.

Eventually he became more then large enough to force his way in, but a curious thing happened. Food started to appear on doorsteps. Not just berries and apples. HOT food. Food that made his insides all glowy and warm. And the taste~ Realizing they were giving him some sort of tribute, he quickly latched onto this idea. He liked this eating thing. No tribute, then he would attack and destroy houses, bother [[and accidentally kill]] livestalk, anything to get them to start leaving those delicious human foods out.

He had it pretty good for a few hundred years this way, feeding every time the moon's dark phase occured. That is until the march of civilization caught up. With the new electricity brought by strangers in uniforms the tribute slowed, then ceased altogether. Bored and angry he attacked one of the villages, tearing down buildings and trees only to be caught and subdued by the strange humans in a net of light.

When he was lucid again he was in the base, caged with barely any strength thanks to the lights shining on him.

● Fun facts:
+ He loves bubble baths. They are the SHIT.
+ Will try to eat almost anything once. Will eat most anything a second time too.
+ His saliva can actually eat through most stains thanks to his feeding on shadows right out of the air. He condences the colour into one point until it absorbs right into his tongue.
+ His blood will actually stain with darkness. The only way to get it out is to sit in direct sunlight or under a sunlamp for several hours.
+ Weirded out by his human anatomy, especially that new dangly bit down there. Has no idea what sexuality is and wants to keep it that way.
+ He loves heat and warmth but still shies away from anything that is raw energy ((fire/ electricity)). No one will ever know but he loves human warmth, but hates being touched by people he doesn't know or like. He acts like he hates physical contact of those he doesn't mind touching him on pretext.
+ He loves puppies and old lullabies
+ When he is out of uniform he dresses like some sort of hobo. He can rarely find clothes that fit him so usually ends up wearing a sort of weirdass hodge podge of loose clothes.
