Description
This guy is for 's contest. We have to design an animal character that is either an outlaw or steampunk person for her comic. I chose Outlaw, mainly cause I'm not too into Steampunk and I couldn't pass up on doing a desert animal lol.

Bio
Name: Silas 'Sidewinder' the Kid
Alias: Sidewinder
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Species: Long-Eared Jerboa
Style: Outlaw
Occupation: Doesn't really have one, mainly stealing money to pay for his own luxuries
Mount: Chupacabra (not shown) named Karoo
Weapon(s)/fighting style: Pistol; extremely fast on his feet and had amazing accuracy. It's how he earned the nickname 'Sidewinder' because his motions make him seem like he's a sidewinding. He sometimes uses the spurs on his feet to kick at opponents if he's cornered.
Personality: Cruel, cunning, instigating, has to have the last word
Bio/history: Silas' mother died giving birth to him and his dad was killed by an outlaw at a young age. He was left to raise himself until some outlaws took him in and taught him how to use a gun. He went solo however and started stealing and killing for his own needs. Once he had a taste for the finer things he never wanted to go back to being homeless little Silas.
He also gets pissed really easily if you bring up his height. He's short for his age and has a bit of a complex.
He'll never admit if but he's terrified of cats (lynxes and servals being actual predators of jerboas) and will avoid robbing an area where there are cats.
His internal clock is set to nocturnal (like real jerboas) so he usually robs places at night. He gets very grumpy if he's awake during the day.
He hates hates being touched, especially on his feet.
He may be small, but he's pretty dangerous.
He lost his eye in a shootout and it pisses him off mainly because it was the only time he was ever injured, more over the fact that ya know, he lost an eye. He's very egotistical in that sense.

(Also I don't have his mount drawn because I didn't know if you had a set design to your Chupacabras or if they were totally up to our interpretation.)

So yep, here's Silas. He's pretty fly for a...mouse thing lol. You'll have to forgive me, I've never drawn cowboys before u__u and I'm pretty rusty on anthros. But I think he's cute, even though he'd hate me saying that xD What can I say, I love rodents lol
