wow those colours are so strong it quite shocking, i'm not sure about it though. Because the lighing is so strong it kind of takes away from the Solitude aspect, as the sea is so calm and the bench reflects the light so sharply, that it makes me feel much more awake that calm. i guess what i mean is that the angle of the shot is quite tight, meaning the sense of space that is often gained from an empty beach is lost in the picture. Also the lighting is so vibrant that the picture becomes energetic in a really still way, which isn't something i associated with solitude. i don't know, its definately given me something to think about, its still a great clean vibrant photo thats nicely framed.

This would indeed be a great place to sit and think. Where was this taken? I so love it when grass is this close to the sea. (or is this a higher up place overlooking the beach?)

Great shot, everything looks perfect and has its place. The cloud formations are really interesting, the waves are rolling into shore, the grass is really bright and green, and even the patches of sand in the grass look effective... Nice capture!
