I haven't actually beaten the game, but when I found out about the ending, I was so angry I wanted to take revenge on Naughty Dog!!! AAAAAAAGGGHHH!! I SHALL HAVE MY REVENGE!!
Stupid Naughty Dog better get Jak & Keira to kiss, or I'm gonna rip some heads off!!

I have to say that I really agree with the sentiment here. Jak 3 had awesome gameplay, cool music and was a great challenge, and it told a great story in a lot of ways, and it would have been a perfect end to a great trilogy if this one thing had just been changed. I don't know what it is with game designers these days. Why do they always feel like they have to shove the nerd to one side? Keira was my absolute favorite character for most of the series, and she and Jak just belong together. I wouldn't feel too bad if Ashelyn survived, but it just wouldn't work between the two of them. Ashelyn has too many responsibilities and is almost no help at all to Jak, short of giving him a few communication gadgets and getting in his way during a "fight the metal heads" mission. Keira is a ton more helpful. She can manage any of the tech the guys come across. She's certainly not the kind to fight on the front lines, but in her own way, she might even be more powerful than Jak.
She deserves it, is what I'm saying. I can't think of any other cartoon series/book/anime/manga/video game/movie/television show/comic book/stage play in which a wrench-bearing genius girl winds up with the guy she likes. Naughty Dawg really should have given us that, if only to help them stand out from the crowd.

Even though Keira wasn't my favorite character, I still think that she should have ended up with Jak. Her role has kind of died throughout the games. She only had one line in Jak 3.
I have heard rumors, though, that Keira and Jak will get back together in Jak X. But those are just rumors.

I was so mad at the ending (the game had pissed me off, and then they throw in the ending and that just blew it!) I cursed for about 10 mintues. I was waiting 2 fricken' games! I curse Naughty dog.
