Description
The Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13; Akio Yamamoto is already the 2nd Captain-Commander during the Gotei 13's roughly 500 year existence. The previous Captain-Commander was his father, Haichi Yamamoto; who was also the man responsible for creating the Gotei 13. Some people resented the idea of him taking his father's place; and thought that either Daichi Takahashi, Takeshi Katsuo, or Susumi Yoshida should take the mantle since they were the only original Captains left. Regardless, Akio was given the position and he had done his best to live up to his father. He is married to the Captain of Squad Four, Hikari Yamamoto, and with a new child of their own, Ichiro, has changed Soul Society to stay up to date with the Human World and is trying to change things for the future generations.
