Yeah, I told you... we get power outages a lot. This was one of the longer ones, and it was, by far, the creepiest.

We felt like we were in Jane Eyre times, carring candlesticks to use the bathroom and such, haha

Haha, yes it was one of several times when the old mill broke down.

It was creepy! It was stupid of me, but I decided to explore the reason why we lost power. So I got in my Sebring, all by myself, and I drove down the dark foggy road, all by myself. It was like a scene from a horror movie. I was expecting a mass of zombies to come out of nowhere and attack my car and eat my entrails. That, obviously, didn't happen. So that's the creepy part.
I found out that someone had run into the power-line outside of the neighborhood and the pole was lying on its side.
That happens a lot. I guess we have a lot of drunk people over here. Or maybe they're just high...
