The colors work well together. Though, there's one big problem with using Photoshop's default leaf brushes to do tree leaves: you'll always have a few just hanging there without any support or logical reason to be there. That said, I recommend this: [link]

The leaves are perfect, I think if you used the same texture pattern on the trunk with the sponge (I'm assuming), it would look really great.
