Description
This is Chicken. He's a kenku, a race made up of flightless humanoid birds, mainly crows and ravens. When Chicken was an egg, he was abandoned by his biological parents and was taken in by a nice aarakocra couple. His mom and dad raised him with love like he was their own. However, he grew up in a community made up entirely of aarakocra, majestic flying aarakocra. Among them he was flightless, and his crazy uncle Chutney creatively gave Chicken his nickname. Soon everyone was referring to the odd bird out as such, to the point where Chicken can't even remember his real name. Thankfully his uncle Chutney was also an alchemist. Not a very good one, but good enough to teach the young kenku the basics, and implant the idea in Chicken's head that alchemy can be used to grant the flightless flight! After that, Chicken dedicated his whole life to making and drinking potions that would (hopefully) grant him the power of flight. So far...results have been mixed. Potions will often do things to Chicken not even remotely related to flying. Most effects are temporary, others stay permanently. Such as:

Growing a full set of teeth under his beak
Unevenly shaped eyes
Horns protruding from the top and sides of his face
And a large, fully functioning tentacle sprouting out the top off his head.

The tentacle in question works much like that of an octopus. It's an extra limb, but it has a mind of its own, meaning it does things Chicken both does and _doesn't_ want it to do. Chicken has gone way past the point of caring about his outer appearance, in fact he finds the look on people's faces when they see him to be quite amusing. Though he'll still put his hood on just so he doesn't have to listen to the constant screams of terror. It gets rather annoying.
