I love this drawing. You did a good job of making it look like a metal handgun with a wood handle. That sounds stupid but it is difficult to capture the different materials sometimes. If you were to put some darker color in the background it would bring out all of the highlights in this piece. I did the same thing with a knife drawing and once I put a darker medium in the back in really brought the piece together. Just a suggestion, great piece overall.

Thanks Cgerrian, good advice i will try that out. yes normally the metal has a fast change from light/dark shades but wood is a different deal. thanks again for that tip
