I love Panty and Stocking, and Chuck is great. I love Invader Zim, and GIR is great. However, I am utterly convinced that the creators of P&S watched Invader Zim,(or even pictures of Invader Zim), looked at GIR, and were like, "let's have that guy in our show!"Β

They have little to nothing in common considering GIR is a defective SIR Unit slapped together by Aliens and Chuck is a giant demon-like dog. their urban forms are quite similar though and it's because Chuck is meant to parody GIR.

Gir was funny, cute, amusing, made me feel good.

He's a character from the vulgar-yet-funny anime series "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt" (2010-present).
Chuck is among many comic relief moments in the show. He's like a Pokemon in that he only says his name when he speaks. He's the chauffeur for Panty and Stocking as they fight demonic Ghosts in Daten City. Heaven also sends hints to the heroes through Chuck by hitting him with lightning and he spits out a roll of paper with the clue on it.
He's actually rather smart and loyal, but is beaten to a bloody pulp on a regular basis by the various characters for many reasons, yet always picks himself up as if nothing happened. He has a little devil that controls him instead of a brain.

Geez, I really don't see anything similar now that I see both. LOL! The only reason for this is probably because of the following: It's short, green, and has a zipper. That's all you can think of when you see him and it distracts me from the actual character.
