Yes! In princess mononoke the forest spirit had eyes like that. Was it based on a goat or deer and do deer have eyes like that? As far as I can recall they have sort of black eyes but I thought the forest spirt was based on a deer all this time

rams are sheep. oryxes are antelopes.
ibexes have huge horns that point up and backward (like most goats) but grow so long that their backward curvature is more noticeable & they look more like huge arcs than the short tight curls of a rams horn around the side of its face.

i know plenty of goats :^} most of the ones with horns that curl in any way resembling a rams are ibexes, and they still get nowhere near looking like a ram's horns which have super tight curls right on the sides of their heads. goat horns point up and go backward. theres lots of cool species of goat with wacky horns like the girgentana and rove, but they still don't look like ram horns.

There are different kinda of goat horns than just straight upward, there are curly or wavy kinda as well.

they point upwards & backwards and can grow long enough that they curve (backward) but the curly horns are ram's horns.
