Description
Spawn had heard that someone had stolen a symbiote suit from Malebolgia. Seeing as how there could be someone more dangerous with the same powers as himself, Spawn went to the place the thief went to in order to find out who they were and get the suit back. He traveled to the realm of darkness and found himself near a Castle. He kicked open the door and began searching for the one who had the symbiote suit. He soon encountered the ruler of the Castle standing at the Balcony. The queen of the Castle, Salem! Spawn could feel the evil and darkness coming out of her, and was prepared to kill her. Salem however, knew exactly who Spawn was and why he was here. Just then, Salem's outfit began to change, looking more like how Spawn looks. Then a green flaming aura covered her. Spawn now knowing that she stole the symbiote suit, was prepared to face her. But something he realized about the suit Salem had is that she had complete and total control over it. It seems the suit had already taken a liking to Salem and already made a bond with her.

The battle with Salem was long and didn't seem to have any signs of ending soon. Something that Spawn didn't understand was why he couldn't feed off of Salem's evil sins. But the answer was the symbiote suit! It was blocking all of Spawn's attempts to feed off her sins. Seeing how he was being overpowered, Spawn had no choice but to flee.
