Now before people comment let me just note two things.
1st, I don't HATE him, I just don't like him as much as everyone else does.
2nd, I still prefer this version of Broly over the Original one any day. So don't think I found Super Broly wosrt then OG.
But the reasons I don't like him are well....... I don't really understand the appeal. Like various people hated OG Broly for him being a whinny baby. But Super Broly, while not a whinny baby, isn't really that much better. I get Saiyans are not the smartest race in the Universe, but Super Broly is even dumber then Goku, I didn't think that was even possible. Being raised by an abusive father who treated him like a weapon and not a son, and shot a ki blast at his only friend, the creature Ba, yet SOMEHOW he still viewed him as his father, and went into a fit of rage when he died. He went into his Legendary Super Saiyan form when his father, who treated him like crap died! Like WTF? Even OG Broly realized his father was just using him and killed him off. He also doesn't really have much in terms of personality in his movie, acting like more of a kid then even kid Goku. Now I get that is because he spent his life on a desert planet and isn't familiar with everything outside of that world, just like Tarzan. But I feel like even Tarzan had a better at understanding SOME things then Broly did, or at least understood them faster in comparison. Now there are things about Broly I do like, but I don't think they outweighs the stuff I don't like. Again I don't HATE Super Broly, but I really don't understand the hype for him. His story is sad yes, but his character is just kinda............ ehhh?
