After beating the giant robot with a combo attack. The little girl thanked both Yoshi and DK. Her name is Cream, and her friend Cheese. After introducing themselves, they asked why did the robot attack her. She didn't know why though. But she did find a pretty looking shard in the forest a while ago. Yoshi asked if they could see it. Cream showed them a Blue Shard. It was a Smash Shard! Yoshi and DK explained what the shard was to Cream. They also asked if she knows the hero of this world. She said that someone named Sonic is a hero. But he went out to go save Cream's Mom from the evil Doctor Eggman. Cream wanted to go, but Sonic told her to stay behind. Yoshi and DK offered to help Cream save her Mom. Cream and Cheese were happy to see that Yoshi and DK wanted to help. I haven't paid very much attention to these scenes and story descriptions of this Code Crossover series, but it seems to do with Mario series characters traveling to different dimensions which so far have been Zelda's, Kirby's and Sonic's worlds.
