Everybody makes it to E Gadd's lab. E Gadd was glad to see that the princesses were safe. Mario asked why he wanted to speak with everybody. E Gadd told everyone to look at the screen. He found something quite strange. A white shard, that was giving off amazing power. After doing some research on it. E Gadd discovered that this is a piece of something even more powerful. Geno said it was called a Smash Shard. Geno knew about the Shards from the Star spirits. They where six all tougher, each in a different world. The Star spirits feared that a great evil may want this power to conquer worlds. So they sent Geno and Starlow to help Mario and Luigi again. Mario and Luigi agreed to find the shards, but wanted to know how to get to the other worlds. E Gadd had the answer to that question. During his time he created a device that was able to travel though other worlds. The only problem was he had no good power source. But with the shard, he may be able to power his machine, and find where the other shards are. In order to save time, everybody was to split up to find the shards faster. Mario and Luigi, Geno and Mallow, and Yoshi and Starlow. So it was decided. The hero would set off to the other worlds. They want back to Peach's Castle to prepare for whatever may come. Peach and Daisy also wanted to tell Mario and Luigi something in private.
