I don't mean to sound cruel, or critical of any of your work...but i have a problem with this one
I have a lot of friends who cut themselves, and for a while i did too.. It seemed like nothing, until soon my arms were covered with cuts, and pretty soon i realized it was going nowhere, so i tried to overdose once....I got to the ER in time, nothing happened
The second time i almost wasn't so lucky
i took 22 prozacs and 6 cold and allergy pills, to punish myself for letting one of my friend's secrets out.. I told her and she called the ambulance and i got to the ER in time, thank god...
I just found out recently that telling her probably saved my life.. Other times i cut too deep and got gashes in my wrist, but i never got stitches so i'm stuck with scar tissue there
Maybe that's why this series scares me, because i've been there, and i've been so close to death..
I know this must seem like a lot of rambling, but i just want you to understand both sides of it
It feels like someone's mocking one of the hardest times of my life when they have a fetish with something like this...
Like i said, i'm not trying to make you feel bad... I just want you to understand the other side of the problem a little better

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Yes it is a very confronting series of photos and I do fully understand the depth of the problem. I am not attempting to mock or glorify the issue. I dont have a fetish with it myself, if anything I hope that people will see this and think OMG I will never do that!

Lol well yes and I guess I sometimes forget how stupid and closed minded people can be and I get rather upset when they cause crap over things that shouldnt be that big of a deal. They are like baby kitties you have to swat them on the nose when they pee on your carpet lol.

you know what... i think seeing as you are a self taught photographer you should absolutely experiment as much as possible. You have a fantastic natural talent and I'm still impressed. I can understand that it is not for everyone but dont let that deter you.

Honestly, doesn't do a thing for me. Just like "DEAD SWAH". When viewed in context with the rest of your gallery, I think this type of work actually detracts. But I'm not a mutilation fetishist. I think you do fabulous work without the gimmicks.
