I think that is the sign of a good photographer. Even if after years of photography you can come up with new things and continue to develop your skills and styles, you can still be classed an amateur because you are still learning new things. It's the beauty of being able to use a camera as your medium of choice. You can continue to learn and explore and you never exhaust your imagination nor run out of things to explore or strive to get better at.

Thanks. I use one of the better "prosumer" cameras as far as image quality is concerned - the SONY F717. I will upgrade eventually to a Nikon D70 or Canon 20D or similar.
