Second in this series - and my favourite
Something COMPLETELY different for me....
My partner was lucky enough to get some free tickets to the last race weekend in the V8 Supercars Australia Championship Series this weekend at Oran Park.
I'm not a usual race fan but I like to watch a good competition of any kind and it is fun to be part of a large crowd once in a while. I went yesterday and today, taking different people with me each time. I only took my point and shoot yesterday, but today I decided to give my "better" camera a whirl with my nice 70-200 f4 IS L Series lens.
Comments welcome including any technical advice on my first - and somewhat amateur - attempt at sports photography.

Well for a first try, you've got things to a good start!
I like the composition, and technically all seems correct.
Personally, I like some motion blur in my pictures, so I'd shoot it with a slower shutter, say 125-250 depending on the focal distance, to get that movement feeling. But I used to shoot a car at a time, while in circuit races it's cool to see these pack shots.
