Pretty sure there is no exposed naughty bits here... You would see more skin going to a beach/pool these days.

That's just a question of personal opinion, but that's not the point. If so many people find offensive, and if it's on the main page for everyone to see, the author should stop being so stubborn because obviously it's not just one person being weird. If she cares, as she says, about art and if this, according to her, is art (which again, is a matter of opinion) then she has nothing to lose by tagging it as mature. So, my question is, why does she continuously refuse?

Based on the comments I see, only you have stated anything negative about this image needing to be tagged. Perhaps there are comments I am unable to see that you can...  Either way, if the author DOES see this as art, that in itself would be a valid reason NOT to tag it. I would think an artist would want as many people to see their art as possible.

You made your opinion on whether this is art abundantly clear by your comments, which is your right, but this content is no more "mature" than the pictures of children on the beach (that ALSO don't have mature content tags by the way) in the "Infants and Children" section. Are you next going to argue each one of those pictures be tagged as mature also? 

If there was nudity in any degree I would agree with you, but everything here is covered and the model is not being any more provocative than a sly look and an exposed hip (which is not nudity). Based on the rules of the forum posted here: help.deviantart.com/220/ regarding mature content, this does not constitute "Mature". It would be at the discretion of the artist if they wanted to tag it otherwise.

Sorry, that's my mistake. I had a similar argument on a different picture where a lot of people were offended, and didn't realize your comment was regarding this picture, not the other one. And it's that one that I would not consider art, not this one. As to this one - I personally quite like it and yeah, it's not that offensive, but it's on the main page where everyone, including children, may see it.
