Well, I'm certainly no specialist, but to me, you are on the right track.
So many guys who do this work go a little overboard with the morphing and it begins to get out of control.  That to me is what I consider to be 'gross'. 
Yours is exaggerated, but still within reality. 
Have you seen the work done by David753?  Give his works a look.  Most are 'acceptable' and sexy, but some are just so....................gross.  But I enjoy his works better than most here.
I know of some other's if you are interested......

Discovered David753 recently, he's prolific and turns out lots of morphs. Agree with your opinion - I enjoy his work better than most!

Would love it if you knew of some others, go ahead let me know! Inspiration!

Cool! Thanks! I've seen some of these, and also Linkin Giant Morphs who has turned out some REALLY compelling and realistic morphs!
