This is my competition entry for the WWF art comp on sustainable living. This is supposed to show what happens if we stick to relying on fossil fuels etc and the right panel shows how we can use still generate electricity for our modern lives, but to do it in a sustainable way. I've tried to mirror the two panes and, but lots of differences/Easter eggs between the two.
I think the colour in just the right panel really emphasises the differences between the "good" and "bad" side. I had a few problems with the watercolour, as one of the pens I used wasn't water proof so it started to run when I applied the paint ... So it was a bit of a nightmare! Managed to avoid too much damage and patched some areas . To enter the comp you must submit as an A4 . pdf so I converted my original .jog ... Hopefully correctly!
