i like the effect with the background, how the black jumps out of the white and the rough texturing where black borders on white. sweet character and the sword kicks ass!

Awww thanks Anna, much appreciated. It was a damned good showing on AO eh? I really enjoyed looking through them all. I loved the face, swirly armour and shoulder armour on your piece, and it is great to see a piece of yours at that size!
The face on mine has been called a pumpkin.. lol.. that made me lol for about 10mins.. (slight exaggeration!)

Too bad you missed the deadline this kicks ass. I like her her alien looking face and how you tackled her shadow cloak ( I could have done spending a bit more time on the cloak I gave my version).

I reckon the way you painted your cloak was spot on, but having a few curly-cues, or swirls would have given it a more dramatic shape

The dress and the arm are so detailed and greately done *-* I like also the pose, the character's expression and the way you created the shadow aroud it.
