Ahh, this came out of nowhere, I created a lush new brush in Painter and just went with it.
Just in time to use on a new job commission that I received yesterday

ups! i still have to paint that zombie-guru!!!! oh my (...) GOD ! i totally forgot about this !- But since the Pope is near me at this very moment (he is about 1000 meters away with snipers sitting on rooftops to protect him)- iยดm inspiered to paint a nice zombie-guru-pope.The pope is visiting Lisbon today and all my neighbors got the televisions running with the transmission of the pope-party ----- and i hear them singing since hours....

I mean, in picutres like this, with a strong and stylized metaphisic factor, the contrast with the well rendered and materic skin u do, is amazing. I mean there is a struggle between reality and simbols that I like so much. It makes the stuff jumping out..I hope like always my lack of specific words doent change wht I mean...

PS love the ball eyes in the backgound, I could steal that idea for a future work..

It's hardly original, but again it was fun to paint. Now all I've got to do is actually use this brush in a commission.. that's the tough part

Hehe, I know what you mean. It's one thing to use a new brush when you're just goofing off, but when the pressure is on, it's a bit more tricky.

This is really cool! And very strange, which adds to the coolness. Congrats on the commission, by the way! It's always a thrill to get one of those. So, I suppose you can say that right now I'm a real thrill seeker.
