I made it a side by side process shot for anyone that might be interested.
This is a WIP, so I'll be updating this whenever possible!
I feel like I'm getting my mojo back

Seriously I have no answer to that, I remember I played on the saturation of the grey in the background, which happened to be a pinky colour when I upped it and washed over it.. I think our monitors might be set slightly differently... but does pink work any better than orange? I have no idea... I'm seriously wondering if I'm 'slightly' colour blind.. are there degrees of colour blindness?

That's very possible. My monitors are not the best, and I'm pretty sure they're a bit too dark. It results in never-ending paranoia on my part. D:
Yeah, there are different degrees and types of color-blindness. I believe the Ishihara test is the standard, though I don't know if it can detect slight color-blindness.

that background is coming along nicely mr Purdy... (painting backgrounds, man what has happened to you? ) You get two thumbs up for the background alone. Also, if i had more thumbs the creature would get some too.

Quite, I jsut finshed them, but insecurity is preventing me from turning them in atm. Deadline is in two weeks so ill let them rest a bit, and maybe look at them in a week or so.

fairly well I think, I experimented a bit on em, because Will Chapman (from Mongoose) lets me get away with quite a lot. One is fairly loose, and was finished really quickly the other was more my regular style and cost me about 20 hours (for a quarter page..... ). Il have them on next month or so.

Ahh the mojo was from ages ago.. I think it was almost a year ago.. it's wavered between then and now.. hopefully it's back! Back to the future of the Mojo, Dr Eveel!

I really like this one, the different steps shown in these images are so fascinating, they underline all the accuracy you had for details and they give an idea of all the work you had to do to obtain such a great result
