Name:
Widemouth Feathernest
Description:
Widemouthβs shamanic powers are exceptional. She is able to heal, summon nature spirits, commune with nature by putting herself into a trance using a complicated mix of drumbeats.
She decorates herself with all things that nature can provide, from feathers, fur, leather, ink and bone jewelry.
She is peaceful by nature, happy living in her cave on the highest mountain peak, drumming her drum and befriending animals and plants. Beware if you disturb her though, apparently she is no longer a vegetarian.

This is gorgeous! I love her story, and the design is brilliant. Coming across such original art is wonderful.

I never noticed the edges blurring into the background before, I'll have to try this technique
Also is that a zipper on her cloak?!

I can notice that she has a massive fat torso and thin skinny and cut limbs. I am also working on an ogre with fat torso and expecially lots of fats in the belly/chest zone and rly muscular and cut arms and legs. Do you as a fantasy artist consider this OK and is it fine as long as it looks fine and epic. Do you think that we can change the archetypes and some natural laws in the name of the fantasy art?
Looking foreward to hear from you

I say do what you like... As long as your design brings to mind 'troll' then you're onto a winner, imo.
Making and breaking rules is half the fun of fantasy art I reckon.
Let me know when you've put it up!
