*the outfit on occasion has to be fully refurbished from time to time due to damage sustained in the line of duty.I love it when comic books explain the mechanics of why their costumes are the way they are and how they work. For as simple as the classic Iron Man looks in retrospect the explanation was quite clever and creative. It helps ground the setting in a bit of reality to help the world feel more believable.
